The 2011 growing season was characterized by mild temperature growing season and fine warm weather during the harvest. The grapes were picked in excellent condition, with good sugar and acid balance. The established HF varieties of Syrah, Aragonez, TN and AB were picked and vinified separately , for add-ed complexity in the final blend. Ageing in used French and American oak barrels for 9 months. Bottling in April 2013
The wine, for release in 2015, is showing fresh and attractive aromas of plums, cherries and black cur-rants. The palate is smooth, elegant and supple, with great balance and a firm supportive tannic structure. Drinking well now but will improve another 3-5 years ageing.
