Sonhador Alvarinho is produced in the demarcated Vinho Verde Region of Melgaço in northern Portugal, one of two special sub-regions where the Alvarinho grape can be cultivated. It shows the typical varietal characters from this mountainous region, minerality, persistent acidity and exotic fruit notes of lime, mango and tangerine.
