Harvest Information

  • 100% Alvarinho from the Melgaço region


  • Hand picked into plastic crates


  • Bunch sorted prior to destemming and crushing

48 hr cold settling Fermentation

  • 3 week fermentation with added yeast at 13-15°C


  • 4 months ageing on light lees before cold stabilization and bottling in April 2012

Wine Tasting Notes

  • Bright, crystal clear, light/green pale straw colour
  • White stone fruit aromas of peach and apricot with hints of tangerine peel, enhanced by mineral complexity. Extended time on lees giving some palate richness. Focused acidity leading to a persistent finish

Serving Suggestion:

  • Ideal with shellfish or as a refreshing aperitif
  • Serving temperature 10-12°C
