Howard's Folly Wine
2020 Aragonez, Case of 6

Our first 100% Aragonez production was born from Howard’s idea of trying to replicate what he considered the best wine he has ever tasted: Benjamin Romeo’s Vina Andres 2001. This wine, made from the Tempranillo grape, had a very distinctive smoky character.
After some research, we discovered that the aging process had taken place in high-toast barrels from a premium French oak producer. We then acquired two barrels of different formats to age our Aragonez (known as Tempranillo in Spain).
This experiment allowed us to produce four different blends, each identified by the color of the wax seal.
